Castlegar Community Services Society is pleased to introduce a refreshed brand identity and new website, marking an important step in the organization’s ongoing evolution.
Over the past year, the organization has undertaken a thoughtful and collaborative process to better reflect who it is today and how it serves the community. This work included input from board members, staff, clients, and the broader community, ensuring the updated brand is grounded in both experience and perspective.
In partnership with Hello Agency from Creston, the organization developed a new visual identity designed to align more closely with its work and values. The new symbol reflects people, hearts, and hands — representing connection, compassion, and community, which are central to the organization’s approach.
These values are captured in the organization’s new guiding words: Connection. Compassion. Community.
As part of this refresh, the organization is formally introducing its simplified name, Castlegar Community Services Society. While the name was updated over a year ago from Castlegar and District Community Services Society to better align with how the organization is commonly referred to, this launch marks the first time the name change is being shared more broadly alongside the new brand.
The organization emphasizes that this change does not alter its scope of service. Through its new tagline, Serving Castlegar & Districts, Castlegar Community Services Society continues to provide programs and supports to individuals and communities throughout the surrounding region outside of Castlegar.
The refreshed brand and website are intended to ensure the organization’s outward presence reflects the work it carries out every day and the communities it serves.
Community members are invited to explore the new website at castlegarcommunityservices.ca.
