The West Kootenay Volunteer Driver Program provides transportation to residents of the West Kootenay region to attend medical appointments. Clients are matched with driver volunteers, and pay a portion of the travel costs associated with their trip.
Eligibility Requirements
Open to all age groups residing in Nakusp, the Slocan Corridor, Castlegar, Trail, Nelson, Warfiled, Rossland, Fruitvale and Montrose. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, and car seats must be provided.
